Eaton evaluates the integration of its products into the ctrlX OS Ecosystem. This means that Eaton's automation portfolio, including the Galileo visualization software, will be made compatible with existing ctrlX OS-based devices from various manufacturers. A joint demonstrator can be experienced live at the SPS trade fair.

At a time when the seamless convergence of IT and OT in factories is critical to innovative, efficient, and flexible manufacturing processes, ctrlX World offers solutions to make this interaction as easy as possible.

Find and purchase all the applications and services required for automation in one place – Bosch Rexroth implements this principle of the one-stop shop with its ctrlX OS Store. The digital marketplace, which now includes over 80 apps in 16 main categories, is growing steadily.

SMC Deutschland GmbH is the 100th partner in the ctrlX World. SMC is the first pneumatics supplier to expand the range of the automation system ctrlX AUTOMATION, opening up new possibilities for users. At Hannover Messe, seven companies from Bosch Rexroth’s growing partner network ctrlX World will be exhibiting in hall 6 at booth D26.

The Linux-based operating system ctrlX OS from Bosch Rexroth is gaining ground in the automation market and is now also available for embedded computer applications from congatec.

With its operating system ctrlX OS, Bosch Rexroth has caused a sensation within the market: The automation specialist has uncoupled the software from its own control hardware and made it available for the industrial environment. As a result, even competitors can use the Linux-based operating system for their own purposes and take on the role of a system and technology partner. WAGO has decided to go this route and is now helping to drive openness in automation as Bosch Rexroth's first partner in this area.

Bosch Rexroth is taking the next step as regards freedom and openness: In the past, the real-time-capable, Linux-based operating system was used exclusively on the control system ctrlX CORE. However, it is now available as a separate solution for industrial environments. ctrlX OS can be used on all levels – from the field level to the cloud, and on a range of different hardware.
